Victoria Queen, silver rupee, 1840, divided legend, Calcutta mint, Mule, WW raised, 25 Berries, this coin was struck from the rev. die of 1849 by re-dating it to 1840. It is a Calcutta Mint test striking of Wyon's die which was found to be defective. It is a mule because of the pairing of an obv. die of a currency issue and a re-engraved rev. die of a 1849 proof issue, PR 63.
Few edge knocks otherwise Very fine, Very rare.
