Ancient Eastern Malwa, Dasharna area, monarchical coinage around Erikachha city state, Betwa valley (100-50 BC), Raja Mitrasena, 2.89g. Obv: Brahmi legend in two punches - Rajno Mitra / Senasa. Rev: Sacrificial post or Yupa within a railing.
Very fine, Rare.
Mitrasena is perhaps the rarest among the '-Mitra' and '-Sena' kings of Dasharna, the other being Ishwaramitra and Sahasrasena.
