Post-Gupta, Kingdom of Gauda, base gold dinar of Shashanka (600-635 AD) in western style, ECB SGA10.1, 8.91g. Obv: Nimbate Shiva, seated in Rajaleela-asana on Nandi the bull, with hand raised. Rev: Nimbate Abhisheka-Lakshmi, seated cross-legged facing on lotus, holding lotus in one hand, and making a gesture of benevolence with the other, an elephant standing on lotus to left lustrating her; traces of Brahmi legend Shri Shashanka to right.
