Satavahanas, Siri Satakani (c.100-50 BC), alloyed copper 'elephant' type coin from Nasik region, 5.96g. Obv: elephant walking to right, Swastika and a small 'Ujjain' symbol above, Brahmi legend Raño Siri… engraved partly retrograde from left; countermarked with a bold Shrivatsa symbol. Rev: faint traces of a modified 'Ujjain' symbol.
Very fine, Very scarce.
