Shah Alam II (1759-1806 AD), silver rupee, Shahjahanabad mint, AH1201/RY29, with letter 'Shri' between the numbers of RY and a sword to right, 10.92g.
Very fine+, Rare.
This is an unattributed 'Shahjahanabad' variety, most likely struck by the Jats or the Marathas, in the north of Braj region, probably from some place on the outskirts of modern NCT Delhi.
