Humayun (1530-1556AD), silver shahrukhi, Qunduz mint, Album B2464, 4.63g. Obv: king's name and other titles in three panels, knotted at centre, with mint name in the bottom panel. Rev: Sunni kalima in plain circle, some weakness of strike.
Very fine+ for the type, Extremely rare.
The mint name could well be Qandahar but Qunduz also begins with the same three letters, and the weight corresponds to the general weight standard, not the local standard of Qandahar. There appears to be no room for 'Ha', which distinguishes the city name Qandahar from Qunduz.
