Rajas of Arakan and Governors of Chittagong, silver square 1/2 Tanka in the name of Hilal or Saleem Shah (1595-1597/1597 -1602 AD), not listed in G&G, 5.01g. Obv: depiction of a peacock with wings unfurled, facing right. Rev: Shahada and Hilal Shah in Arabic below Of a unique type in the Arakan series, these coins were not known to G&G. Subsequently two or three specimens are known.
