arm. Rev: The goddess Ardochsho enthroned facing, tamgha at upper left.
Very fine+, Very rare.
Samudra Gupta describes amongst his achievements his conquest over the 'Devaputra Shahanushahis' of the North-West in his Allahabad pillar inscription. This coin type, modelled on the coins of late Kushans is a fitting testimony to that claim.
