Satavahanas, 'elephant' type Lead coin from Newase-Paithan region, in the name of 'Satavahana', attributed to Satakani I (100-50 BC), similar to MIGIS-9, type 1309, 11.98g. Obv: Elephant walking to right with trunk upraised, modified 'Ujjain’ symbol on its back and Brahmi legend Raño Siri Satava… above. Rev: Tree with prominent leaves and branches in a railing.
