Nawabs of Arkat, anonymous copper ½ cash coin (1700-1800 AD), not listed in major publications, 1.47g. Obv: Kas (= Cash) inscribed in Farsi. Rev: Bandar inscribed in Farsi.
Very fine, Very rare.
As 'Bandar' means a harbour, it is likely that the coin was struck at one of the many harbours dotted on the Tamil Coast.
