Rohilla Chieftaincies, faction of Najib Khan Rohilla, silver rupee, in the name of Shah Alam II, Ahmadabad (Ghausgarh) mint, RY 28, struck under the rule of Ghulam Qadir the last ruler of the faction, curved dagger or Peshkabz as mint mark, 11.14g.
Very Fine, Extremely Rare with crescent mint mark.
An interesting feature of this coin is a 'crescent' mark on the obverse which is copied from the coins of Najibabad mint, originally belonging to the Rohillas but surrendered to Awadh after the Rohilla War of 1773-74.
