Early medieval Maharashtra, Khandesh region - 'bull' type alloyed copper coin of 'Vishnukundin' fabric in the name of 'Ranavigraha', perhaps a local Rashtrakuta ruler, (600-700AD), 4.40g. Obv: bull standing facing right, with bell in neck; legend Shri Rana above. Rev: Kalasha (vase) placed on a pedestal with two lamp posts flanking it.
