Bronze Seal (6th century AD), with motif of seated Nandi and inscription in Vakataka style angular Brahmi that reads Rajyako(sha), 15.22g.
Very fine+, Extremely rare.
The motif of seated Nandi is reminiscent of coins of Kalachuri king Krishnaraja. The paleography of the legend suggests a 6th century AD period. The inscription suggests that the seal could well have been used at a royal treasury.
