Ratlam area, copper 'kachcha paisa' with designs derived from 'Ra'ij'-type coins of Ratlam state (1800-1825AD), of a large and thin fabric. Both obverse and reverse have writing - but stylized Chhatra (umbrella) and Aftabgir (sun-shield) symbols on obverse and a cartouche with 'Ra'ij' on reverse, 9.34g.
Very fine, Rare.
