Mint state, Extremely rare.
A pattern specimen of the New Style coinage to be issued from the new Calcutta mint, circ.1830. Evidently not adopted because of the continued minting and issuing of the old standard mohurs. Similar coin was sold in Baldwin's auction no.: 82, Lot no.: 908 sold for hammer £ 9500.
