Rev: Bangla legend Śrī Śrī Yuta Rāja/dhara Mānikya De/va Śrī Satyāva/tī Mahā Devyau within square with ornamented borders, R&B-T 180; KM 97.
Dark toned, Very fine, Rare.
It is said that Rajadhara Manikya devoted himself to religious ceremonies rather than the affairs of state. His end came when he fell into the river Gumti and was drowned while drinking water in which an image of Vishnu had been washed. All his coins are dated Sk 1508 but there are several variations in the form of the standard above the lion.
