Coins of Berar mint usually have a mint-mark or a die-engraver's signature on the reverse, just below the mint-name. Symbols like a bird, lion, or star, or the 'Ram' written in Persian are known. Here there is a small Persian inscription '…vind' inscribed at the same place. Corroborating with a couple of other coins, this is part of the name 'Govind' visible, which is an extremely rare occurrence.
