Extremely Fine, Rare.
All gold coins in the name of Edward VIII struck at Jodhpur are very rare. Lingen lists a Mohur as J.16.01 (no illustration available) and a 1/2 Mohur as J.16.02 (ex- Singapore Coin Auction no. 34, 2002) but no other fractions are listed. The 1/4 Mohur offered here is struck from the same dies as the 1/2 Mohur listed by Lingen.
