Western Kshatrapas, Copper Coin of Damazada I (c. 80-95 AD), countermarked on 'Soter Megas' type coin of Kushan king Vema Takto, Fishman 12.2, Senior 319.1T, 7.69g. Obv: Diademed bust of king with 'six-arched hill with wavy line below enclosed in dotted border' device countermarked on the truncation. Rev: Horseman holding goad, tamgha to right; traces of Bactrian legend around.
Fine, Very Rare.
An extremely rare coin of the Western Kshatrapa ruler Damazada, who was the younger brother of Chashtana.
