Very Fine, Rare.
Coins of the 'Mitra'-rulers of Punjab are among the rarest of the indigenous monarchical coins of North India. They are generally bilingual, with Kharoshthi and Brahmi legends. On this coin, the Brahmi legend would have been placed above the elephant on reverse, but it is off the flan.
