Obv: King, in Tribhanga posture, standing holding strung bow in one hand and arrow in the other, a crescent standard in the backdrop; Brahmi letter Shri in the top left field, Di in the lower left field and legend in three lines Bala / Mr ga / nka in the lower right field.
About Extremely Fine, Extremely Rare.
Balamriganka' is identified either with Anandadeva of the Deva dynasty or Gopala of the Pala dynasty. Bose and Nasir favour the latter
attribution but remain non-committal about it in ECB.
