Kam Bakhsh (1707-1708 AD), Copper Dam, Dar al-Jihad Hyderabad Mint, AH 1120/RY 2, 13.71g. Obv: Farsi legend Fulus Badshah Din (Panah) and AH date. Rev: Mint-name with epithet arranged in three lines, RY partly visible at the bottom.
Little deposit otherwise Very Fine, Very Rare.
So far, copper issues of Kam Bakhsh were known from only one mint, Dar al-Zafar Bijapur. This is the first time a coin of Hyderabad mint has come to light. Kam Bakhsh is referred to on copper coins by his title 'Din Panah' (“Refuge of the Creed”) which is echoed in the couplet he used on his silver and gold issues.
