Yadavas of Devagiri, Mahadeva (1261-1270 AD), Gold punch-marked Asu or 'Padma Tanka', 3.81g. Obv: Six punches: 2 x Kannada letter 'Shri', 1 x Sankha shell, 1 x lotus in centre, 1 x boar to right and 1 x Nagari legend Mahadeva with a bow below. Similar to MSCI-I no. 288.
Very Fine, Rare.
This coin has an additional punch of a boar and bow below the name of the king - both unusual features.
