Baroda?, Silver Rupee, Jambusar Mint (mint and date off flan), in the name of Shah Alam II.
Very Fine, Rare.
The published rupees of Jambusar have RY22. Who controlled Jambusar at this point is uncertain and consequently, these coins might well have been issued either by Peshwa's representative, or by the Gaikwads of Baroda, or by the EIC. This coin has the symbol of javelin placed diagonally and an extra mark' of 'u' over 'lu' of Julus. This is different from ther known coins of this mint.
