Maratha Confederacy, domain of the Chhatrapati of Kolhapur, Silver ½ Rupee, Panhalla Mint, copying Muhammad Shah's couplet type issue of Azamnagar Gokak mint, diagonal line and three dots as mint-mark on reverse, M&W T1, 5.42g.
Very Fine+, Rare.
It is almost impossible to tell issues of Kolhapur and Panhalla mints apart because they look exactly the same. Only difference must have been in the silver contents.
