Obv: Shahada in rectangular border, names of Rashidoons and their titles around. Rev: In rectangular border, Sultan Muhammad 'Adil Khallada Allah Mulkahu followed by the mint-name and Nagari legend Sri Mahamadasahi; other titles around.
About Extremely Fine, Extremely Rare.
G&G list a very different rupee for this mint which is dated AH 964. This coin differs in respect of obverse legend details and is issued a year earlier than previously known. Also, G&G contend the mint-name to be 'provisional' but it is clear on this coin and leaves no doubt for its reading.
