Obv: Nimbate king, wearing tunic, standing holding a standard with ribbons attached to it, offering sacrifice at an altar, Garuda standard in the backdrop; Brahmi legend Samudra under the king's arm holding the standard, traces of Brahmi legend Samara-shatavitata- vijayo….purajito… around, reading from right.
Rev: Nimbate goddess, seated frontally on throne holding cornucopia and noose, with folds of her lower garment emanating between her legs; Brahmi legend Parakramah to right and a Tamgha in the left field.
One test mark on reverse, Very Fine+, Very Rare.
Altekar assigns this variety to var. C – it has motifs executed with more slenderness and refinement, so a product of 'Mint II' which becomes a major mint later in the reign of Chandra Gupta II.
