Brass Seal of a Qazi (Islamic jurist) named Muhammad Aseem Ahmedi, dated AH 1161 (c. 1748 AD), 17.19g, with retrograde Farsi poetic inscription in neatly engraved Nasatliq style - Qazi Muhammad Aseem Ahmedi / Khadim Shura'a-i- Mateen Muhammadi with Sanah 1161 added in the last line.
Extremely Fine, Very Rare.
Khadim Shura'a-i-Mateen Muhammadi means the 'servant of the all-powerful laws of Muhammad', which refers to the status of the Qazi as a jurist of the Sharia Law.
