Babur (1526-1530 AD), Silver ½ Shahrukhi, Lakhnur mint, unlisted by Rahman, 2.35g. Obv: Shahada in circle; names and titles of the Rashidoons around, partly visible. Rev: Babur's name visible in an ornamented cartouche; mint-name and invocation visible below it.
Very Fine, Very Rare.
Rahman does not list any fractional Shahrukhis for Babur. They become much more a feature of Humayun and Kamran's coinage but this is most probably the first half Shahrukhi of Babur ever to come to light.
