The title al-Wathiq bi Allah al-Musata'an is not known on any other Sultanate coin. It means "the believer in Allah, the One whose help is sought". Allah al-Musata'an is a Quranic reference to Allah and occurs in the Quran at two instances - Verse 18 of Surat Yusuf (Chapter 12), and verse 112 of Surat al-Anbya (Chapter 21). The use of this title, along with the fact that it is a 'pedigree'-type gold Tanka, makes this coin truly exceptional.
