Mahatalavaras of Andhra Pradesh, 'horse' type Lead Coin from Telangana region, MIGIS 1398, 6.81g. Obv: Horse standing facing left, Shrivatsa above its back and a 'Damaru' like banner symbol in its front. Rev: Elaborate three-arched hill enclosed within a rectangular border.
Very Fine, Very Rare.
Horse' type coins were struck by Mahatalavara Siva Sebaka who calls himself Lord of the Horse. It is an important issue, seldom offered at an auction.
