Very Fine+, Very Rare.
Silver coins of this short-lived Sultan are extremely rare. Mahmud was raised to the throne in Delhi after the death of Muhammad Tughlaq by Khwaja-i-Jahan, unaware that Firuz Tughlaq had taken reins of the kingdom in Sindh. When he returned to Delhi, Firuz deposed Mahmud promptly.
