Archaic Silver Punch-marked, Coin of a type which was recently discovered and hitherto not properly studied. Weight (4.40g., corresponding to the 'Vimsatika' standard) and symbolic configuration (ABBC) indicates a series from the middle Gangetic Valley. The symbols are entirely geometric and composed of intricate whorls.
