Feudatories of Chalukyas of Kalyani (probably Nolambas), Gold Punch-marked Gadyana with legend Bujaba, early series (11th century AD), 3.47g. Nine punches: 5x stylised seated bull (Nandi), 2x Kannada Sri, 1x Kannada legend Bujaba and 1x elephant goad (Ankusha).
Extremely Fine, Very Rare.
Nandi was the dynastic emblem of the Nolambas, hence the attribution of this series to that dynasty is as per S G Prabhu.
