Ujjain, Uninscribed die-struck coin of the 'Standing man' type (150-100 BC), 2.62g. Obv: Man standing holding stick (Danda) and water-pot (Kamandalu); 'river' with aquatic creatures below and a tree-in-railing to his left. Rev: A frog within a dotted rectangular border.
Very Fine, Rare.
Usually, the 'Standing man' type coins bear an 'Ujjain' symbol on reverse. On this coin it is replaced with a frog.
