Satavahanas, A group of 3 Silver Portrait type Drachms of Gotamiputa Siri Yajna Satakani (200-250 AD), of the 'Curly haired head' type, 2.20g, 2.05g and 1.92g. All show obverse and reverse legends in different extents. Obv: Curly-haired bust of the king facing right, with jewel on the forehead, sporting a hair tuft, wearing heavy ear-plugs; Brahmi legend Rano Gotamiputasa Siri Yana Satakanisa around. Rev: Dynastic emblem composed of modified 'Ujjain symbol', six-arched hill with crescent, sun and wavy line in the centre; legend in Southern Brahmi Arahanaku Gotamiputaku Tiru Yana Hatakanaku around.
