Copper punch-marked coin of the Eran-Vidisha series (c. 150-100 BC), 5.07g. Obverse has four punches, 1x-Elephant, 1x-Horse, 1x-Ujjain symbol with two extra dumbbells interposed, 1x-'river' with fishes and turtles. Reverse bears a bold 'lotus' symbol punched in the middle.
About Very Fine, Very Rare.
Coins bearing the 'lotus' symbol on the reverse in all probability a political transition in the Betwa river valley in the region around Vidisha.
