Archaic Silver punch-marked coin from lower Tons river system, attributed to Chedi or Kalinga Janapada, not listed in Rajgor or MATEC, 3.06g. Obverse has four punches in ABBC configuration - 1x Elephant to right, 2x Bull to right and 1x ploughshare without oxen resembling a 'candelabra'.
Very Fine, Extremely Rare.
MATEC lists similar coins with 'candelabra' like mark as products from the Son river valley, (Shahdol area) while Rajgor refer to a hoard in Patna Museum with similar marks. Neither lists a variety as offered here.
