About Extremely Fine, Extremely Rare.
Similar coin was sold in Baldwin New-York Auction XXIII on 6th January 2010, Lot No.: 353 at $15,000.
This Rare Mohur, unlisted in major references on Mughal coins is interesting because in AH 1016, other major mints in Jahangir's empire like Agra and Lahore had been striking heavy-weight coins. It is possible that this Mohur, which is of a normal weight, was struck at Kabul, just before the orders of the currency reform were received by the officials there.
