A. Early medieval South-Central Gujarat (Lata), c. 6th - 7th century – uninscribed lead 2.7g, coin probably struck by the Gurjaras of Bharuch. Bust of king on obv; and a horse-rider on rev. B. North-Western Malwa / Mandasor area, c. 5th - 6th centuries – lead 4.1g, coin with Vaishnavite idioms: obv; has Vishnu's attributes – Shrivatsa, Chakra, Gada, Lotus and Conch shell; rev; has two-line inscription 'Jitam Bhagavato Padmanabhen' (= 'Won by the great God Padmanabha'). Possibly an issue of the Aulikara dynasty of Dashapura (Mandasor) as feudatories of the Guptas. (2 Coins)
