Sasanka king of Gauda, Samatata Gold Dinar, 5.7g, Abhiseka type, Obv. Siva nimbate, looking right, raising left hand, seated cross legged on bull (his vehicle Nandi) left, resting right arm on its neck, moon (sasanko) and letters Jaya in Brahmi in lower field. Rev. Legend 'Sri sasanka' goddess, goddess Lakshmi seated cross legged on lotus holding flower and uncertain object, elephants flanking her. Slight distortion at the edge.
