Satavahana dynasty, Siri Satakani (c. 1st century BC), 'Bull'-type copper-alloy, 6.21g, coin from Newasa Paithan region, Obv: Bull to right with Brahmi legend'…Satakanisa' above its hump. This motif is counterstruck on an earlier 'Chakra'-type coin of Siri Satakani, the arrowed spokes of the Chakra and legend '…takanisa' clearly visible above the bull. Rev: Tree with five broad leaves in a railing, small swastikas to each
side. Traces of the under type (Ujjain symbol, legs of an animal) visible to the left.
