Kakatiyas of Warrangal, Prola I (1052-1076 CE), counter-stuck uniface gold PMC with at least 35 repousse punches on a broad flan of which many of the lower layer punches belong to the Nolambas. Two-and- half gold gadyana denomination, 9.33g, W: 60.20 mm; H: 61.04 mm. Unpublished variety and known for the first time. The primary layer of Nolamba punches look weak due to overstrike and consists of 2x Sri in Kannada, 14x Nolamba written in Kannada, 5x no. written in Kannada placed in a row beneath the feet of the warriors. The secondary layer of fresh punches consists of 1x central punch of four warriors standing and facing front, believed to represent Rama, Lakshman, Bharat and Shatrughan, 2x Sri in Kannada, 2x Kesari in Kannada.
