Sultans of Delhi (issued in Bengal), silver tanka of Nasir al-Din Mahmud (1246-1266 AD), Lakhnauti mint, AH 751 (date unlisted), G&G B71 (listed as RR), 11.04g. Obv: In decorative double square border, Arabic legend al-sultan al -azam nasir al-dunyawa wa'l din abu al-muzaffar mahmud bin al-sultan. Rev: In double square within a circular border, Arabic legend fi ahd al-imam al-musta'asim amir al-mumineen; AH date sanah ahd khamsin sab mi'ah clearly readable in the margin.
