Archaic silver punch-marked coin - Tapi-Wainganga Valley region, usually attributed to 'Vidarbha/Ashmaka Janapada', '½ Karshapana, ABBC configuration, (c.400-350BC), not listed in Rajgor, 1.69g. Obv: Four punches - 1x elephant facing to right, 2x six solid ellipsoids around a circle, 1x crescent with dots underneath. Rev: Traces of an undertype (2x six-petal flowers and a weasel / otter visible).
