Rev: legend in Sanskrit inscribed in Sharada script - Avyaktameka Muhammada Avatara Nripati Mahamuda ("the Invisible is One, Muhammad is the manifestation, Mahmud the king"); in the margins - Ayam Tankam Mahmudepure Ghatita Tajikiyer Samvati (“This coin was made in Mahmudpur in the Arab year”) followed by AH date in number.
