Vijayanagara Empire, later anonymous coinage of Aravidu dynasty, Penukonda-Chandragiri region, copper ½ cash, (1575-1650 AD), not listed in Ganesh Karnataka/ Tamilandu, 1.39g. Obv: mythical 'Gandabherunda' bird. Rev: Sankha shell in centre, crudely written Devanagari legend (Ramaraja?) around.
